If an employee becomes unfit for work, they will be entitled to disability benefit under the Labour Capacity Act (WIA). The insurance waiver of contributions protection insurance means that BeFrank will continue pension contributions throughout periods of occupational disability. The waiver of contributions takes effect on the day that an employee is at least 35% unfit for work and is in receipt of a state benefit. It ends on the state retirement date, but no later than the first day of the month in which the employee reaches the age of 67.
If your employee is entitled to benefits under the Labour Capacity Act (WIA), these benefits will be paid by the state. With our occupational disability pension, they would also receive a benefit from BeFrank. This insurance cover can be taken out for all employees or only for those who wish to have it.
