Amsterdam, 3 September 2015 – Kempen Capital Management (KCM) and online pension administrator BeFrank are joining forces in partnership to provide pension solutions. This will make it possible to enter into a defined contribution (DC) pension scheme with BeFrank, with the asset management being undertaken by KCM. Combining expertise and experience is fully in accordance with both companies’ growth strategies.
In addition to its existing asset management solutions, BeFrank will also be offering a fiduciary lifecycle product by KCM to KCM customers. With this partnership, both parties are responding to a growing demand for DC solutions.
Paul Gerla, CEO of Kempen & Co: ‘The partnership with BeFrank is a great step forward, which really allows each party’s specialisms to flourish. BeFrank is a successful player with an enterprising approach, which fits perfectly with Kempen’s ambition of further expanding our activities in the field of fiduciary management.’
Folkert Pama, Head of the Management Team of BeFrank: ‘We’re seeing a growing need for DC solutions with pension funds. Kempen Capital Management is a high-calibre company which is already providing asset management for the target group. By joining forces, we can strengthen each other in providing a solution. We’re really looking forward to working with Kempen.’
For customers at BeFrank who are investing for themselves, BeFrank has also added a number of KCM funds to the range of options.
