BeFrank celebrates its ten-year anniversary

The first premium pension institution of the Netherlands is celebrating its tenth birthday today. BeFrank has been blowing a breath of fresh air through the pension sector since 2011 and has set a new standard for pension communication. The company makes pensions understandable and transparent, using innovative tools that allow people to make their own choices. Login rates of over 70% show that the communication and activation are working.
In ten years, BeFrank has grown into the largest PPI in the Netherlands, with over 1,000 customers and 270,000 employees who are accruing a pension with the provider. The funds invested amount to almost six billion euros. Leon van Riet, CEO Netherlands Life & Pensions at NN Group, was involved in BeFrank’s founding: “We are incredibly proud that our PPI set the market in motion a decade ago and is still doing so today. The pension landscape is subject to changes and our PPI is a robust component of this landscape. The start-up has developed into a mature company, and I am confidently looking forward to the future.”
