Appointment at BeFrank

Delta Lloyd announces that Marianne de Boer-Maasland (45) has been appointed as a director of
BeFrank from 1 January 2015. She will succeed Rob van Mazijk, who has held this position on an
interim basis since 1 June 2014.

Marianne de Boer-Maasland’s focus as a director will be on BeFrank’s relationship management,
information management, HR and finance, while board chairman Folkert Pama will continue to
concentrate on business development, marketing and sales. Together they will comprise the BeFrank
management team. Marianne de Boer-Maasland has held various management positions at
Delta Lloyd since 2008 and before that at ABN AMRO. She is currently Manager of Intermediary
Defined Benefit Pension at Delta Lloyd Life Insurance.
