BeFrank is a modern online pension provider competing in the market alongside insurance companies and pension funds. We work with a compact and youthful team. Our aim is to actively involve our clients – the employers and their employees – with their pensions. We do as much as we can to keep pensions as simple and as clear as possible. We want to bring the concept of pensions closer to people.
We work closely together with pension advisers. We offer collective pension solutions and also provide the full administration of pension schemes. Pension schemes are based on the defined contribution model.
In 2008, Delta Lloyd N.V. and BinckBank sensed the need for a new type of pension. The two parties joined forces and, with BeFrank, were the first to enter the market for ‘premium pension institutions’: the PPI.
Our service is provided online as far as possible. Employees receive their start letter by email. From then on, all communication takes place online via their personal pension page (or by email). Communication with employers is also handled primarily by email.
We also apply these policies internally. We print as little as possible, and for what we do print, we use recycled paper. Of BeFrank’s electricity supply at its offices, 92% comes from sustainable sources and we fully compensate CO2 emissions. We use smart lighting, have a waste prevention policy and a water management scheme.
